Penny Wise and Pound Foolish

PENNY WISE AND POUND FOOLISH

Many people try to save money by posting their own cash.  With really small bonds or bonds the Court will forfeit for fines, it doesn't matter.  But with larger bonds we recommend you use a bondsman.

     1. We will ensure that your bond refund is returned promptly to you once the bond is exonerated.  We will instruct the Defendant on what to do and what to say to the Court to expedite the refund process after sentencing.

     2. We have the power to rearrest the Defendant if at anytime the Defendant gives you reason to believe they will not go to their hearing, or if they violate their conditions of release (drinking, using drugs).  If you post a bond yourself, you have no power to rearrest or revoke the bond.

We have heard many stories where someone in an attempt to save money sends a friend or relative down to post the bond.  When the Court has finished with the case, they refund the bond back to the bond poster.  When the bond poster gets the money back, they refuse to return the funds to you or insist they haven't gotten it.

Avoid the confusing bond window schedule and the frustration of posting
Phoenix bail bonds.  Allow us to handle this for you.  The small fee you pay to have a legal professional post your bond is worth the security in getting it done right.

Posting Bail at the Maricopa County Jail

POSTING BAIL AT THE 4TH AVENUE JAIL

Cash bail is no longer accepted from the public at the Maricopa County Jail.  The jail will only accept bail from authorized county bondsmen or law enforcement.  The public can use the Kiosk, located in the 4th Ave Jail lobby for putting money on an inmate's books, or a Money Order if posting bail at the window.

Tallini Bail Bonds always recommends the use of a licensed bondsman to post your bail.  The bondsman's duty to you does not end after the bond is posted.  A responsible bondsman should do everything in their power to get your bond returned to you once the case is over.  This can potentially make a huge difference in return time.  Additionally, sending a friend over to the jail to post your cash means that the Court will return your cash to your friend when the case is over, not you.

Tallini Bail Bonds can take your worries away from posting bail at the jail or court.  We can make the difference between getting your cash back or losing it forever.
